I was thinking it would be cool to have a tab at the top that had the best-of threads from the past week for those who don't have time to check in each day.

Define 'Best'. Kinda like the idea, but if it was based off of just views or replies, you would often get some junk up there..... like Hawk threads
barring recruiting stuff, wouldn't the front-page news accomplish most of that? Chris seems to keep it pretty up to date these days.
I wouldnt mind this. Im on this site several times a day and I have missed 100 post threads and wondered how the hell I missed them. A thread can blow up fast..and die out fast which puts it on the 2nd football page because there are so many of them.
