Of all the schools that left, the one I feel the least ill will toward is Colorado. Every other school leaving furthered the impression that the B12 was collapsing, whereas I think CU was really just a reaction to the looming certainty of the Pac-16 and wanting to make sure they had a landing spot. We would have done the same thing if the Big Ten had come calling. Nebraska started the whole fiasco, Missouri and A&M lied and manipulated, obviously we know OU and Texa$. Colorado just kind of quietly left to save their own hide and join a bunch of other league schools who didn’t end up following them. I’m still upset at all of them, of course, but the Buffs make me the least unhappy if they are truly coming back.
Also, didn't CU feel more "culturally aligned" with Pac for quite a few years prior to that wave of realignment? That's going from memory of what I read during that phase.
