Not sure how long it will last, but it's crazy that TCU, KSU and Baylor are by far the best 3 programs in the conference.

TCU and K-State have been solid for a long time. Baylor not so much, I agree. The fact UT is not good is because they chose to fire coach Brown. OU is just not hitting on all cylinders this year for some reason. That's a tough out though. You'll see shortly.

You're coming down for the oSu game? Possible, I suppose, since it doesn't start till 7pm.

Back to business. OU is very good. 11am start makes it even more difficult for the Clones to muster an upset.

I'm not seeing your point here. Care to elaborate?

I guarantee that OU will hit on all cylinders this weekend in Ames. They always do.

There was a time when ISU vied for the top of the Big XII (north) as well. programs have down years. Others jump in their place.

K-State has a been a power for a while - nothing new there.

Texas and OU will be back to the top in short order I'm sure. $$$ always win.

OU is still the premier "program" in the conference - like they have been since the Big 12 was formed. TCU, Baylor, and K-State come nowhere near the Sooners in terms of recruiting talent.

ISU challenging for the top of the North seems so, so long ago. Seriously like a lifetime ago

I'm sure the Clones will kick *** and win the North next year

But really, let's be honest. Vying for the Big12 north when ISU did...although it has a nice ring, it wasn't that prestigious. Not sour grapes, and I'd love to claim a north title, but let's not give too much credit for that.

This. The north was God awful those years. The south could have 4-5 teams better than the north's best team those years. ISU just couldn't ever take advantage of it. People may disagree with me but our teams today are better than our Big 12 north contending teams from the mid 2000s

And we snatched a loss from the jaws of victory to North teams in those years - making it even worse.
