Blake Hinson to Miss 2020-21 Season

Hes shot over 50% from the floor and scored more than 10 in every game but the Jackson state game. He’s leading the Big 12 in FG% as a guard. He’s remarkably consistent.
He has the inconsistent stigma from his 3 point shooting at the beginning of last season. People for some reason can't get over that and have drawn the conclusion that he sucks rather than seeing he is one of the top guards in the league.
Bolton season has been solid through 6 games.

Sure he is shooting slightly under 30% from 3 point line, but he is shooting 66% on 2 pt. shots
Bolton will make an All Big12 team. A solid achievement for a player on a team which will finish near bottom of conference.
so back to Hinson, he's supposed to rejoin the team this semester correct? He won't play, but he'll practice - I thought that was the plan?
I don't know if Bolton will make an all big 12 team. Maybe honorable mention. League is too good. If ISU was better he would be but hard to put a guy on the top 3 teams when they will be fighting for 9th place with KSU.
I don't think he will practice - since this is a free year for everyone if he was healthy enough to practice he would likely play.
I am just going to assume he won't ever play at ISU and will be pleasantly surprised if he does.
Because normally when you just have an injury or health matter you stay with the team and rehab with them. He went home to be with his family. Ole Miss found the blood abnormality and I am thinking maybe ISU docs found something else with that or maybe that was causing that when they probably had to do more intensive health screenings do to Covid. I should have actually said, I will be surprised if he plays again anywhere, including ISU.
Yea i don't think he ever got? applied for? received? a waiver to be eligible. So assume he just redshirts this year. Too bad bc it is a free year.
Just hope he's healthy and doing ok.
Just to add..Yes it is huge. He's a proven 6'7".. P5... SF/Wing who can shoot the 3.
Add a stud PG coming in along with a year older Dubar/Foster etc.. and prob add 1 more impact transfer and you have a team that should compete well..
