If you think about it he got pretty close to what the Chiefs paid Kenneth Walker III and as a Chiefs fan I would have much rather had Hall than Walker as Hall has way more upside. Walker got 3 years $43.05 with $28.7 mil guaranteed.

I'm glad Breece got paid but the Jets are a poorly run organization that hasn't won anything in awhile so he's stuck with a losing franchise. How many times have the so-called experts raved about the Jets drafts in recent years but they haven't had a winning record since they were 10-6 in 2015. Had they allowed Breece to hit the open market it would have been interesting to see what kind of offers he would have had because he probably would have been the top free agent RB on the market.

Not much Hall could do. The Jets tagged him. It’s either take the payday with the Jets now, or ride out the year (still with the Jets) hoping you don’t get hurt, produce enough that you still earn a long-term contract next year, yet hope the Jets don’t tag you again next spring.

Well said. I think in the right organization, Breece could be the best RB in football. Like, statistically, physically, etc. Jets is one of the WORST places to be for a player his caliber at that position.

He’s getting what $24-28MM guaranteed in his new deal though? Breece Hall is living the dream. Most NFL guys do not get to a second contract let alone a big contract. If he invests wisely he should have money for his grandkids to live comfortably
