I would think if they are targetting LeBron and Bosh they would have tried to move Deng instead, but either way I'm just glad to see Heinrich gone.

They were trying to move Deng too, looks like they just got somebody to take on Kirk's contract first. Rose, LeBron, Bosh and Noah - looks like a pretty good core to me.

This is the worse idea ever, you lose a great backup guard and great defender. Chicago doesnt need lebron.

Here is what chicago SHOULD do.

trade Deng he has done nothing for them since he got that huge contract.

Sign Joe Johnson, Bosh, and Korver.
Then you would have a starting lineup of
Rose, Johnson, korver, bosh and Noah
with Gibson Johnson, and hinrich coming off of the bench.

Yes because keeping an overpaid back up guard should be high on the bulls list of things to do. Korver not an NBA starter, he's a spot shooter who can give you a few good minutes off the bench. Giving a max contract to Joe Johnson over LeBron is idiotic, Johnson proved in the playoffs he can't carry a team and I have no idea why you would want him over LeBron.

Why? he is a great defender and would give them an experienced guard to come off of the bench.

Yes i agree the would have traded Deng if they wanted lebron. Lebron/wade would both be terrible choices because that takes the ball out of Roses hands. Lebron is just not that type of player to play the traditional SF position, he would not fit with this team i am sorry.

And lebron has proved he cannot carry a team to a championship as well. He doesnt fit the profile of the team. The Bulls need 2 things, inside scoring presence and a shooter, lebron is neither.

And who knows, maybe they are clearing up a guard spot instead of Deng because they are going to still attempt to target Wade with LeBron. Wade is from Chicago and his children are living in Chicago with his insane ex-wife.

I wouldn't bet on it, but it would be fun to watch a lineup of: Rose, Wade, Deng, LeBron, Noah - along with their DLeague level bench chearing them on.
