Can you give us some times when we'd be leaving and getting back? I know the game time isn't known yet but how about some estimates? How early do we usually get to the game?

Don't have any times at this point. Once the kickoff is set, I will announce what time we are leaving.
We will leave 45 minutes after the game is over to return home.
With $10 tix and cheap gas, a group of 4 could drive there for $60 in gas /4 people + $10 tix and go for about $25, not counting wear and tear on the vehicle.
And one (or two) of those people will get to have no liquid fun

There is definitely value in having the transportation all provided and having nothing to worry about, no doubt about it.
Cheapest tickets currently on Kansas site are $35.
You failed to mention parking. Throw in another $20 for that.
Food? Gotta buy food to eat while tailgating? Planning on grilling? Fill up the propane tank. That's more $$
Want to drink on the way down? Can't (legally that is) while your in a car. Can while on the bus.
Want to watch football games while driving down? Have wifi?
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with doing all this buy yourself, but there are plenty of reasons to go on a trip like this. The only thing you have to worry about is how much beer you need to bring.
I'm about as cheap as they come, but this trip for $100 is just a great deal, no doubt about it!
Stubhub had them as low as $6.
I agree that there are a lot of benefits to doing a bus trip, and I am glad you are doing one, I just think the value isn't as great when tickets can be had so cheap through secondary outlets.

I went on this a couple years ago & had a blast, definitely worth it.
& of course you can go if you don't drink. There were plenty on that trip who didn't drink. Contrary to popular belief, it's not just a big drunk fest down & back.
