Business Dinner in Ames

I’m sure there’s already a post on this, but getting together with a few work colleagues in Ames tonight for dinner and looking for some suggestions. I know of Aunt Maude’s and the old standards, but wondered if there were some newer places that people enjoy.

Yes Provisions (Lot F) and The Cafe are the best options in my opinion. If you are trying to run up a bigger tab then Aunt Maudes.

I respect what The Cafe does and it's not bad food but it's awfully damn expensive for the quantity you get.

Cafe B is my favorite spot in Ames, but it depends on what kind of business he's talking about. Not sure thats the place for a dinner with suits on. If you're looking for something more casual, Cafe B is perfect. Thoughts of a Long Island and one of their burgers has me drooling.

I have enjoyed the food at the Iowa Stater in the Gateway Hotel and they have a couple private rooms that could be reserved for a business discussion. Usually not too loud of a place anyway.
