It is kind of wild to me that the teams in the national championship this year will play 16 games (possibly 17!).Technically, the season is 1/12 of the way over with.
Meanwhile Troy Davis was running for 2000 yards playing in 11 games.

You act like Iowas offense will be better than ND’sIs the season over? Of course not, but I will assume that Iowa is better up front than UND, so I can see next week's TOP being even worse than today's.
And I don't know about the rest of you, but I am ******* sick of losing to the Squawks. I guess I'll just bet on Iowa to win, so I can at least profit off of Campbell's CyHawk ineptness.
I said better UP FRONT. Iowa's skill players are hot garbage, but if they can run 3 yards and a cloud of dust, we'll never get off the field. You act like Iowas offense will be better than ND’s
That freshman WR from NW Iowa looked awfully good.I said better UP FRONT. Iowa's skill players are hot garbage, but if they can run 3 yards and a cloud of dust, we'll never get off the field.
Kirk will have his largest erection in 50 years watching film of ND's 2nd quarter drive. Thats his ideal offense right there.I said better UP FRONT. Iowa's skill players are hot garbage, but if they can run 3 yards and a cloud of dust, we'll never get off the field.
Not the worst spell correct incident I've had. Ended a relationship over a corrected word once. "Far" became "Fat" and that was the end of that.Too much Bacon
Yes, back to the original thread, seeing him helped off felt very deflating. Hope it's not season-ending.Watching him carted off yesterday was crushing
My guess would be today? Guess we can just hope for the best and have him full strength next yearYes, back to the original thread, seeing him helped off felt very deflating. Hope it's not season-ending.
Probably MRI today/tomorrow?
it’s definitely not uncommon. Cooper Dejean was always a gunner at Iowa. Play your best players. Will McDonald was on the kickoff team, and maybe punt team but not sure about that one, while he was the stud edge rusher. Campbell has always done stuff like that.
I am more worried about our dismal LB play.I came into this game thinking the DL had the chance to be good. After seeing them pushed around by an FCS squad, I have some concerns. There were plays where our DL was pushed back 5 to 6 yards. This won't work well in the B12.
On a positive, when we get everyone back healthy and the younger guys getting experience our LB's should be pretty good next year. Not bailing on this year as yesterday wasn't anything I'm judging this unit on. Bacon going down wasn't part of the plan and ****** everything up. Coaches and players have a week. Kinda hope they work on that 4 man front from what I saw yesterday. My guess would be today? Guess we can just hope for the best and have him full strength next year
This is a CMC phenomena. ISU had really good special teams for the CPR and CDM eras.Punts have been an atrocious part of the game for ISU. Just yesterday this and North Dakota's kicker dropped the ball, put it between his legs, and squib kicked it inside the 5. I dread punts.
