Is the season over? Of course not, but I will assume that Iowa is better up front than UND, so I can see next week's TOP being even worse than today's.

And I don't know about the rest of you, but I am ******* sick of losing to the Squawks. I guess I'll just bet on Iowa to win, so I can at least profit off of Campbell's CyHawk ineptness.
I thought about doing this but I figured we’d lose and the hawks wouldn’t cover.

Can Malik Verdon at 6'4" and 220 play LB? Seems like one of our safeties may need to change positions.
That's basically what I expect against Iowa. I think we play a 4-2-5 with Freyler and Verdon playing tighter to the LOS. Ebel and McLaughlin are fast enough and big enough to play in that formation IMO but I don't remember seeing McLaughlin yesterday. Did he play?

Rumor is he was dealing with an injury but that has not been confirmed yet

McLaughlin didn’t dress. We were basically starting our 3rd stringer (Ellis) there with he and Brezina out.

I think that 425 is going to look alot like a 443. We'll be walking safties up til Iowa proves we can't.

Yes, back to the original thread, seeing him helped off felt very deflating. Hope it's not season-ending.
Probably MRI today/tomorrow?
prepare for the worst. he wasn't putting any weight at all on his left leg when he got helped off. does not look good.

Ebel looked decent but he has a tendency to over-pursue and take himself out of the play. He did that way too often yesterday.

That is rumored to keep him out for the season? Sounds like we have no freaking clue. Matt Campbell gonna Matt Campbell.
He was scratched right before kickoff. Likely a nagging thing from camp
I think it's an injury that he could possibly play thru pain, or get surgery. Surgery would likely mean out for the season. That's the decision.
Edit: this is about McLaughlin
