It was good last year. I'd argue special teams were good the first few Campbell years, then for some reason were ******* for like 3 years. This is a CMC phenomena. ISU had really good special teams for the CPR and CDM eras.

That’s a very fair response. I may have come across as supporting it due to gambling which wasn’t my intention. I think it would be a fine rule that wouldnt change much in the landscape of things regardless of the reasoning behind it. There are way bigger fish to fry in college athletics haha.To be fair people were disagreeing with your initial point that we need mandatory, standard injury reporting, then you shifted the argument to it being inevitable due to gambling. These are two very different things. I think it’s stupid to require it but also think it’s inevitable because of gambling.
Yeah some people get hippa confused. NFL injury reporting started in the late 40s and some ******* cluttered the first page w an injury question. So uh any news?
Yes. That’s why the LB position is worrisome. We're missing arguably our top 4 LBs. Think if we were missing our top 4 WR. How bad would the WR group look? Pretty damn bad.
Special teams was weird during CMCs first several years. Dont’t you remember all the fair catches? We completely abandoned kick and punt returns as some sort of risk aversion tactic. It was good last year. The way injuries for Iowa State get reported absolutely suck. You combine a coach who keeps everything secret with insiders “in the know” that live across the road from an assistant head coach that leave vague pieces of information that could mean a million different things. It is what I’ve heard a couple different places. Like I said though, a rumor since I’ve heard it from random people. I will work my source to see what I can find out for sure.
I’ve not heard that on Will. I’ve heard out for a while, but not done for the year.Bacon and Maclaughlin are done for the year.
And Willich. Not great.Bacon and Maclaughlin are done for the year.
Those 3 would start for 80% of P4 teams. And Willich. Not great.
Does @isufbcurt have any eligibility left?Bacon and Maclaughlin are done for the year.

One of my sons had a friend who was a walk on linebacker. The only tackle I saw him make was when he plowed over a fan in the field rush after the game that kept Okie State out of the natty game.
My concern with that is he'd be the next guy injured in that position.I have an idea. Put Freyler at LB.
I’m guessing your body wouldnt agree but maybe I’m wrong and I understand.Unfortunately no, but I'd do it in a heart beat

Do you actually know this, or are you speculating?Bacon and Maclaughlin are done for the year.
