I don’t care how much NIL they have, if you are competing in one of those weird conferences with like 1 AQ per weight, good luck getting top talent.
Your program has to be on strong footing to make it work. Mizzou seemed to do alright. But they control their state and have enough talent in that border to sustain a program.

I agree. But didn’t Mizzou have a little more rollin when they went through that? I think what seems to be a decrease in emphasis on in season tourneys might not help OU either.

Collateral damage to wrestling with OUt. But, maybe this realignment nonsense will bring ASU into the conference.
I'm a little confused why the PAC12 and Big12 didn't merge their wrestling conferences already instead of inviting affiliate programs. Wouldn't that give a better SoS?
