Wish I could, sadly I don't think it was actually filmed in CR. The Final Season was tough, I got to be an extra in that movie.

I believe it is a movie that happens in C-rapids, not necessarily about C-rapids. If it is, i wonder if they comment on it smelling like crunch berries all the time.

It's not being filmed in CR..... When I discovered that my excitement level for the movie dropped almost completely. Look at the skyline in the trailer.

Because Cedar Rapids Iowa sounds allot smaller and funnier to have a square white guy go to an insurance conference.

I don't get why movies aren't just filmed where they take place. You see it all the time.

If they couldn't shoot it in Cedar Rapids, just name it after wherever it was shot. Also, the city they show in the 2nd skyline shot looks like a major city, like much bigger than DSM or Omaha. Certainly too big for CR.

I know they filmed some flyover, etc. shots of the city. Interested to see what all actually gets in the movie.

On a side note, this movie actually looks pretty funny. I think I saw a review that said it was kind of 'The Hangover' Midwest style.

Yea I'm hoping that's not supposed to be Cedar Rapids, it's wayyy too big and awesome looking. Maybe it's the city Ed Helms character is from.

They do have a real shot of CR at about 0:17 in the trailer, when the guy is saying "I need you to go down to Cedar Rapids..."

It does look pretty funny and have to agree with the hangover knock off. Oh well still looks good.

Yeah, definitely not shot in Cedar Rapids. The hub and I wondered if they had planned on doing some filming in CR but due to the whole IA movie tax fiasco and the flood they had to scrap it. Either way, it looks kind of funny.
