Usually there’s at least one game I really like but I don’t really see it this week. Maybe Iowa -27? The last time the Buckeyes faced a really good defense was Notre Dame in the opener and that was a four quarter game. I thought that line would be closer to 22.

Iowa was something like 24 pt dogs last time they beat tOSU but they had some offense that year. They’ll probably find a way to keep it close, 27 is a lot against their D.

Texas is really good.
Texas will continue to get better. I think their culture is improving and having guys like Ewers and Bijan helps greatly. Ewers had his first bad game yesterday but is going to be elite. He normally makes all the right reads and has a great touch on the ball. He will grow into a 1-5 pick.

Ewers had his first bad game, yes. But another way to look at it is this was his first game against a solid defense. I don't think Bama's defense is all that good this year. So beyond them, they've played a lot of teams that are happy to get into a shootout. Give me OSU straight up on this one

Valid point. The don’t think he’s quite where some pundits think he is, but in that OU game his reads and passes were beautiful. Yes their D sucks, but even so he made some incredible throws at all levels. With that said, it will be interesting when they face a team that gets more pressure on him as we clearly didn’t.

Okie State already a 3.5 Pt dog vs Texas, doesn’t make any sense at home.
Ok St has played 2 brutal games in a row. They are beat up and worn out.
They are a real good team, maybe the best straight up in the conference, but their schedule is murdering them rn. They need a bye week or an SEC late season game vs Directional Nunnery Technical College.

Agree. They also haven’t looked quite as consistent or even strong as I think a lot of pundits expected pre season.

I don't think Iowa can lose to Ohio State by 29, but just in case, I have them on a 6 point teaser up to +35. They would basically have to get shut out to not cover IMO, as I don't see Ohio State scoring more than 42 points on that defense. Most are lucky to crack 24. Iowa should score at least in garbage time IMO.

I have Oklahoma State teased up to +12.5 on the same ticket FWIW. Can't see Oklahoma State getting beat that badly at home, coming off a loss. That's not Gundy's style.

I got in on Baylor/KU Over 60.5
TCU -3 vs K-State...not very sure about this one, just a hunch and what I want to have happen. Seems like a coinflip game.

Take OSU -27. The odds aren't fully accounting for how bad Iowa's offense is. Iowa's defense is going to get no time to rest and will be getting blown apart by the end of the first quarter.

Iowa's defense is not that good. They've just played bad offenses. OSU might be up by 35 at halftime.

I agree. I can see them falling behind by more than the spread but then covering after OSU calls off the dogs in the 4th. Similar to the Michigan game. I’m surprised the spread widened to begin with.

I don't see Ohio State scoring less than 42. And EIU won't score more than 14. Take Ohio State to cover.

I think the Sukeyes will want to humiliate the Hokeyes.

Agreed. I think it's an easy cover for Ohio St.

Yikes imagine thinking Iowas offense could score against Ohio st. It’s like you people haven’t watched their offense all year.
