Yeah, I checked out Andy's stuff last year and was flat out blown away. Some folks have to be born with minds like that...no way can you work up to a level like Andy McKee or this Rodney Jenkees.

There are so many scales and modes out there, that if you're up for it and creative enough, you can get some beautiful stuff to come out. I really dig a lot of those songs now and days that change tempo, tone, and melody all in the same song to really inspire the language of music.

These are a few that come to mind that are recent works.

Absolutely agree. He is ridiculously good. I have a youtube playlist with just his music on it. It is so soothing(in a masculine way of course).

A friend of mine also does fingerstyle guitar. He has appeared on those compilation CDs you often find at Target. He's a contributor to Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine and Guitar Teacher Magazine.

I love Andy... I have been buying his CD's as gifts for people, and they all love him now. This is gonna sound odd, but I have Andy on my Ipod for long distance runs. It really gets me in a nice rythmn.

hey Jon that kids great. Youtube is a great resource for music of all taste. I just took up an instrument in January for the first time at age 57. Lots of talent as well as teaching material.
