I was at Fizz this past weekend for the ISU/Tulsa game and had a blast. I sat next to a gentleman from Sioux City and another from Sergeant Bluff. It's a small world considering I'm from Sioux City. They had plenty of TVs and good sound. The food was good as well (I always love a burger with a fried egg). They also had $3 tall boys. Needless to say, I'll be there this weekend.

Here's the ISU Alumni Club on facebook:

And the two official bars in the city:

Corcoran's

Chicago 60614

Fizz

I was at Corcoran's for the Tulsa game and it was a fun time as well.

That is until a non ISU fan got in a little argument and exposed himself to the entire bar after the game. He was promptly removed from the bar.

I watched the ISU/Iowa game with the alumni group from San Francisco last year and it was one of the funnest games that I have ever watched from a bar. Great time.

Not sure. Maybe call and ask. Last weekend during the game it was a great family friendly atmosphere. After the game things got a little dicey, see my previous post.
is it a restaurant bar or more of a bar bar

I was able to watch the 2nd half last week at Cochoran's. I had attended the Cubs game and ran down there after the game. Meet a young couple of Cyclones were here in Chicago continuing their education. Quite enjoyable Being the NW burbs, I would prefer the former location (Fox & Hound in Schaumburg), but for some reason they moved the suburban game watch to Crystal Lake (what, are we trying to get the Cyclones from Rockford to drive down). So I might be making the painful drive back to the city to watch the game. Too bad last week I had to leave right before the end to catch a train and I missed the "excitement". Was that any worse then getting on the train only to be surrounded by Hawkeye fans returning from Soldier field after their game with NIU?

During the day it is more of a restaurant. Tables, few seats around the bar in the front. There is a back room where most of the Cyclone fans were and back there it is more of a bar but most people back there were eating last week.

Mother Hubbards on Hubbard St (close to Michigan Ave) is a nice dumpy sport bar
