I'm sure he meant Cooke/Naz/Niang. I don't think Burton is a PG in any sense.

Wouldn't want Burton to play PG the whole game, but from what I've seen of him he could play it for a few possession here and there.

Well I just said in the transfer thread we could see up to three more open scholarships....and here's one. No real surprise here, didn't look like he was physically ready to contribute in the B12. Time to upgrade.

we now have 3 spots open. I certainly hope we don't have 2 more.

Not surprising, was expecting this. Best of luck to him. There simply aren't going to be any significant minutes for him as long as Monte is here.

So one more year, maybe two if we're lucky. I kicked around the thought of Hoiberg redshirting him next year which is what will happen anyway.

This is kind of a shock to me. I met his girlfriend down in Mexico last week (at least she claimed she was) and she told me how much he loved Iowa State after I told her that's where I go. Best of luck Clay!

Would anyone really be surprised to see Thomas transfer too? I hope he doesn't, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I will always remember my time at Iowa State. I have nothing but love for the university. Thanks to my coaches, teammates and #cyclONEnation

Not really. Fred has invested a lot in Thomas, and Thomas has no reason to believe that he won't compete for minutes in the future.

He's not thinking about it because he wouldn't get drafted. He's nowhere to be seen on the projected drafts and they don't go by who they know is coming out, they go by who can play in the league. It's extremely hard for small 1 guards to make it in the league. That's why ISU is in such a good spot, they have a very good point guard that will be there for four years.

He's 6'2. People should stop acting like he's 5'9. Also, with his strengths being decision making and ball handling, it doesn't really matter.

First thing I thought of was Wichita State, but don't be surprised if he ends up at Mizzou or even my sleeper pick UMKC. They have an up and coming program and he could dominate. Don't be surprised if it's PITT, his girlfriend is going to play Volleytball there
