Barely knew him. Good luck elsewhere, Custer!

This is not good. A little surprised by this one. Of course with virtually no playing time this year, not likely he would get much next year either or possibly the year after that. So, back to no back-up point.

Interesting. Think we look for a transfer/high school pg or just count on Cooke/Georges/Naz during the short time Monte is out?

That's unfortunate. Best of luck to him!

Thought he would be a great PG once Monte moved on. Going to need some help there...

Was really hoping Custer was going the Naz Long route. Naz didn't sniff the floor his freshman year and still became an integral part of the team.

Oh well I guess, wish him the best.

Good move for him. Hoiberg was going to just recruit over him. Will fit in better at a mid-major.

These posts suck

Custer is a good player; I have no idea why he wants to transfer, but I wish him the best

If I remember right, Oklahoma State was the closest competitor for him but I don't know if he'd look to go Big 12 or what his plans are. Maybe Mizzou if he wants to stay close to home? Total speculation.

I can't say I blame him. Good luck in the future, CC!

On the bright side, one more scholarship for the upcoming free agent market.
