Diallo, a transfer big that has to sit out and a transfer PG that has to sit out would be pretty fantastic this offseason
Why transfer PG when people think Cooke will play PG? Diallo + big + best available for me.

Is the "shocker" reference yours or from Goodman? Could be a hint.
The curse of recruiting the best players is that they actually want to play. Best of luck to him. Always seemed to be a team player here. Even though he wasn't getting into the games, I noticed he would often be the first one out to greet players after an opponent called a momentum-breaking timeout.
confused by so many people are saying or inferring monte will do something dumb... am i missing something? or just by saying that is stating how important monte is, even more so, now.
I'm sure there are people trying to get into Monte's ear and telling him he's ready for the NBA now.
Dang, I thought he was going to grab a few more minutes next year, then be ready to take over if Monte were to leave.

I wouldn't expect to see a juco point guard that is good enough to play come here when they know they are getting 10 minutes a game at most.I like Clayton a lot but it seemed pretty clear that his lack of size and strength would make it difficult for him to be a significant contributor next year. The parting of ways is a good move for him and our program.
I'm expecting Fred's staff will find a JC transfer who is more physically ready to give some back up minutes to Monte next year.
It's pretty cool that our program has reached the level where we're worrying about the quality of our 2nd and 3rd stringers (kind of like Nebraska football in the 80's).
Got to keep Monte healthy!!

Iowa State freshman Clayton Custer has decided to transfer from the men’s basketball program, head coach Fred Hoiberg announced Tuesday.
“I appreciate the work and effort Clayton gave to our program this season,” Hoiberg said. “He has been a great teammate. I’ve enjoyed coaching Clayton and wish him the best in the future. I will do anything I can to assist him as he looks for a new school.”
Custer, a 6-0 guard from Overland Park, Kansas, saw action in 12 games in 2014-15. He averaged 1.1 points in 5.8 minutes while coming off the bench for the Cyclones.
“I truly enjoyed my time at Iowa State,” Custer said. “I was able to build relationships with people I’ll be close to the rest of my life and I will always cherish the moments I had here. Thank you to the Iowa State coaches, my teammates and Cyclone nation for the special opportunity.”
