So what are the best chances to find a parking spot in that 10-11 timeframe? Had a hawkeye tell me they fill up at 8. Looked at the Iowa website and it says they open at 9. So I am not paying attention to them.

Anyone tailgating in lot 85 commuter? I think that's where we're going to tailgate but not really sure how early we should get there

We been looking into tailgating at either the Library, Lot 65 or lot 85.

It’s been many years, but I don’t ever remember having a terrible time there. Certainly never had beer cans thrown at me and, looking back, I was a complete asshat in 2002 (one example).

It’s not nearly as good as tailgating in Ames, but it can be fun in a completely different way. Just like with anything, if you aren’t a massive douche, I don’t think you’ll be treated like one.

We’re tailgating in that lot. We’re gonna show up around 9am. It’s a pretty big lot so should be good to show up a little later too
