I'm getting teary eyed and I've only talked to him a hand full of times. He was such a great guy and ambassador for ISU as he made you feel like his best friend the first time you met him. Great sense of humor!

I feel so bad for his family. They will definitely be in our prayers.
+1. My sentiment exactly. Cyclone Nation lost a true family member today. RIP.

This is terrible news. I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Bray on a couple of occasions. He was really fun and seemed like a great guy. He will be missed. RIP Coach Bray.

That's just so sad it's sickening, so horrible for his family and friends and football community here at Iowa state.

Thoughts and prayers to his family and your team.

Thanks for your prayers Boomer, really appreciate support from our Big 12 brothers at a time like this. Gut wrenching loss for the Cyclone family to lose such a great guy so young as we unite in sympathy for our coaches and players, and especially the Bray family. Rest in peace big man.

Hard to put into words the feeling of losing someone so young. I had to deal with it a month ago. Puts life into perspective and makes appreciate the memories you do have. Hug/kiss the one's you love and remember to always tell them how much they mean to you. You never know what the future holds. Prayers go out to the family.

So sorry to hear about this loss to the Cyclone family, but more importantly, to the Bray family. I'm a Hawkeye fan, but had the great pleasure to coach Curtis's son in Upwards football this season, and they are such a great family. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Shocking and very sad. He's in a much better place, but his family needs as much love and support as Ames and ISU families can offer.
