Yeah, what was up with him? He’s been terrible the last few weeks. I agree that he set OSU up very nicely and put our defense in a terrible situation.

We can’t afford a punter that goes on hot and cold streaks that’s for sure.

I'd be ok if we went for it on every 4th down going forward. 4th and 27 from your own 1 yard line, go for it.

I don't understand how you have this bad of a game if you're a D1 punter, literally all you do in practice is punt.

The other thing too with his punting. Not sure what he is doing wrong. But, most punters kick a ball that will roll forward when it hits the ground. His will most likely go backwards. Sort of having the wrong english on the ball..... Like it has backward spin to it. This isn't the only game that I have noticed this. I would think they would have somebody working with him to correct this.

He’s had a solid career and it’s a thankless job, but I hope he starts to kick better.

When he kicks a traditional punt, they're better. It's his rugby style kicks that seem to be garbage. No distance, no height.

I'm no punting expert, but it probably means the ball isn't turning over (pointing down on its descent) the way it should.

End of year seems to do that to our punters, even Kirby had some struggles towards the end of the season.

It could be mechanical as well. I can’t imagine that punters can get real good coaching if something gets a little off.
