We're already fighting an uphill battle with the game being on FS1. We played too poorly last week to justify it now. Syracuse getting smoked is the only shot IMO.

First, that has absolutely no bearing as ESPN does Game Day for games on CBS and FOX all the freaking time. Hell - they do games all the time that aren't the primetime game on ESPN or ABC - they end up flying Herbie to the primetime game after Game Day.

Second, the only other game in consideration is Clemson-Syracuse, and Syracuse is currently getting MDKed by Maryland.

Third, yes, we struggled against UNI. Lots of teams struggle in week 1. We won. Get over it already.

If they don’t go to Ames and Syracuse loses where the heck are they going to go? Stanford UCF? Our game is infinitely better than that assuming Iowa wins.
