So wait. I have to camp out the 6th for the actual ticket and the 17th for gameday? Well at least I can get to go to both I suppose.

Yeah, it stinks to see a company be loyal to an employee...

You have to be joking. I cringe every time he talks. He is embarrassing himself and the other three have to go out of their way to cover for him most of the time. They need to bering him in for the mascot heads and that's it. Pollack is just sitting there licking his chops.

question the gamedays usually have fans in the background. I assume for the football ones everyone can come but are the crowds for the basketball gameday's only for college students?

Until I got to your last sentence, I thought it was the most typical Iowa State response in the history of responses

Did we ever figure out who ESPN is choosing between for this date? IIRC Duke @ Louisville was on the day but was ruled out because of a concert or a women's game or something... Is it just between KU @ ISU and WVU @ UT?

I guess I'm not worried about getting in for gameday. Do people think that all of Hilton will be full just for gameday?

No, it won't be full. It would be well attended but not full. Waiting in line will be required to get the premium seats, however.

When did ISU announce this? I've never heard anything about it. So let me know if I'm understanding this correctly, if you're a season ticket holder you pick up a physical copy of the ticket on the 6th?

It wouldn't surprise me to see Hilton almost full if Gameday came here. This would be the first time in history that Gameday would be here for basketball or football. Something the fan base has been waiting for a long time, we would definitely pack Hilton and make a great first impression.

They did this in '07 maybe? You had to go wait in line in like October or something to get reserved seats for KU Texas and Iowa. Seems like a good idea for games they anticipate big turnouts for.

Yes, they did. I remember they still had tent row set up for football tailgating.

I would think Hilton would be full for the KU game whether Gaeday came or not....

I'm really confused about how this will work. I just graduated in May and live in West Des Moines. I have been one of the people over the last 4 years that has camped out every time, often the 1st person in line, and at worst 2nd row in the student section. So I decided to buy student tickets again from a girl because I love being in Cyclone Alley. I planned to take atleast half a day of work off (probably the whole day and start camping Thursday night) on the Friday before the KU game, But now I feel like I might be screwed because I won't be able to wait in line on the 6th too in order to get one of the "reserved gameday" tickets. Anyone know any clarifications on how this will work to get the gameday tickets? Or suggestions are welcome at this point!
