And when to drop the f-bomb!
Best part was ESPN making him go back on the air and apologize. I'm not sure if Corso is right in the head anymore..we all already know how Lou Holtzth is in the head.

I actually like it more than the football version. Bilas is very knowledgeable on the game and many teams, and is much easier to listen to than Herbstreit. Digger is less annoying than Corso. Rece Davis is decent, not as good as Fowler, but ok. And I like Desmond Howard over Jalen Rose, as an analyst, but IMO Desmond is really good, and ESPN is underutilizing him.

You lost me here. Bilas loves the NBA and only the NBA. Last few times I've watched gameday he talked about what a "Better Product" the NBA is... I'm not a Bilas fan.

Don't get hung up on the time of day. That can be changed very easily. Consider all times to be tentative. If ESPN calls a school and asks them to change the time of tip off so they can be center stage on national TV they are going to do it.

Disagree... Basketball times are rarely changed. It's not like football because you have so many sports using the same building, so it's more imperative to have the schedule solidified for the season. Is it possible, yes, but it does not happen often. Also, Duke turns around and plays that next Monday, so I'm sure they would prefer to keep the noon game.

It could be both games. Last year Gameday was at two locations for the first week. I could see Louisville-Duke being the early game and KU-ISU being the late game.

I agree. I'm glad Louisville/Duke already has the ESPN early slot because they easily could have them in Iowa City for the morning gameday, bus them across the state to Ames for the evening. They have done this before on the east coast

Louisville plays in the KFC Yum! Center. There aren't any other school sports using that facility. They can have that game whenever they want.

Bilas is by far the best college basketball announcer and it isn't even close. He is knowledgable and doesn't come of with the same obvious bias' that others have. He also doesn't ramble on about dumb stuff that has nothing to do with the game (looking at you, Dickie V). Give me Bilas over any other announcer all day. Sure he hammers on the ncaa in general but it needs to be done.

Not just sports. They could be having a concert, monster truck, pro-ish wrestling, garden show, camper show, dance marathon, etc. If they've already booked an event for the evening it will be impossible to change. I have no idea if they have an evening event or not, but it's not just sports

You really think they are going to book another event in the evening after a basketball game that ends at 2-3pm? Just how fast do you think they can clean, break down and set back up for a second event? There isn't going to be anything scheduled after a basketball game. Going through there event calendar they don't have events after basketball games that I have seen.

I guess if you don't count the women's program as a school sport you would be correct...

Duke already has one Gameday game vs North Carolina. I doubt they give them 2 again like they did last year.

If the programming people at ESPN chose to put a game on ESPN2 rather than ESPN, why would they later give it Gameday? Doesn't make sense to me although I'm not sure if that happens or not.

Some have pointed to the Duke/Louisville Noon start as a reason Gameday won't be in Louisville.

You have little company.
