The crowd was good today except the upper deck student section. ISU should start selling that section to the general public. It does not fill. Cyclone Alley does great, but the general student section upstairs is bad. ISU already gave away one end of the balcony, they may as well give away the other side too. If the students can'tfill that section, someone else should be allowed to.

The student section kind of makes me mad just because I know so many people that want to go to games that couldnt get tickets and the upper deck is always empty. I really wouldnt mind if they sold it to the general public I have bought my tickets early enough to not have to worry!

Yeah that is a good point...Cyclone Alley is deff big enough with the lower and middle sections. There really isnt a need for anything else! I think anything to fill Hilton is a good idea!

Would not be a bad idea, except the fact that the other students would be forced to join CA. It would work better if they switched it back to the way it was 2 years ago where one end was CA and the other was still students but not only CA. Tough to do because CA is bigger now but it seemed to work well then and you would be able to sell the seats up top.

Is there going to be a "criticize the crowd" thread after every game? Let it go.

right, because after all we all know that the whole parquet is always completely full for every game.

The parquet is mostly made up of donors who don't necessarily live within minutes of Hilton. Some drive a considerable distance to be part of the events. If it wasn't for their loyalty and generousity, there wouldn't be any Hilton magic!

I watch the game on TV and the crowd was the best I can recall this year. It looked good.

Ok, don't kid yourself....Iowa game...unless you didn't see that...but it's kind of a given that the Iowa game would have the best crowd.

You could have ended the post after...

The crowd was good today
We won the damn game and G-Mac emphatically praised the crowd today. Said without the fans willing us to play well after the team/staff got in a funk with those 2 technical fouls - he's not sure how that game would have turned out.

Hilton was rocking yesterday, period.

Of note...WE WON!

If you were at the game and not watching on tv you would have seen a full crowd until you looked at the balcony behind the basket on the east side. I am not criticizing the crowd, we were great. I am criticizing the LARGE empty section. It really did not fit in with the rest of the crowd. Selling these seats to the general public instead of students who don't use it makes absolute sense to me.

We used to use it... reasons why it's not used as much have been discussed else where.

Crowd was pretty good yesterday, despite the fact that I stared at an empty section the whole game

Creighton had 17,501 people yesterday to play against ISU (Indiana State). That was their 4th all time crowd.
