Customer Service Hall of Shame, Mediacom not in top 10

Maybe Mediacom isn't big enough compared to the other companies. It might not have as many customers to make mad.

I've had a few dealings with some of those companies on the list. For the most part I can't complain. I think a lot of it depends on the person that you get when you call in.

Not suprised that they are almost all communications companies. I am guessing that Mediacom just isnt big enough to make the list...

I like that Abercrombie is on there. Is that from everyone who walks by at the mall and asks them to stop spraying the perfume all over the place

I havent had much problem with them other than being on hold for a really long time. I have heard alot of people having problems with them though

Cox is wonderful and American express is shabby. I have no problems getting hold of Cox if a probelem, they come out when they say so, and my intenet runs at 17kbps download speed. I cannot say the same for Quest. The past experience with dropped calls from Sprint means I will never go back.

How two companies can be worse than Sprint is mind numbing. Maybe bringing on Nextel helped, I'm not sure because I jumped from them before the merger. If Sprint would have had a special 'reach through the line and strangle the sob from customer service' feature, I may have actually stayed with them........

I've been having problems with Mediacom... When we had cable hooked up, the technicians (a company hired by Mediacom) told us that our signal was weak. They said that they would inform Mediacom. Mediacom didn't do anything. We called Mediacom. Mediacom didn't do anything. We called Mediacom again. They finally fixed the problem and put in a new cable. They cable has been laying on the ground for over a month. They have already marked to utility lines to bury the cable twice, but they are yet to bury it and they are going to have to mark the utilities again because I have to mow!

Mediacom customer service is bad. Mediacom cable service is worse.

Are they still selling digital cable with 50% being analog?
