Ok I have had a day to get over the disappointment of yesterday’s game. I am sorry that it didn’t finish the way that we wanted, but I am proud of the effort of everyone on the the team. Sure some mistakes where made, but the excellent plays outnumbered the bad plays 10 to 1. I am sure that this team is already working on fixing the problems the best that they can to make this team the best version possible of this team.
I really want to complement this staff on the positive changes they have made to the Cyclone Culture. They do a tremendous job of taking 18 year old kids, coaching and teaching them how to develop into the great young men that will be the leaders of tomorrow. These Cyclones will change the world. Look at the number of academic All-Americans on this team. These young men have learned how to have discipline, be accountable, trust their teammates, and to keep working hard through adversity by being part of this team. They have learned that greatness isn’t given, it is earned. We are blessed with a coaching staff that values personal development most of all.
