Newer comedians are not half as good as the old school legends. Bo Burnham is probably the only newer one that makes me laugh. My kids forced me to watch him and I'm glad they did. But even he is nowhere near as funny as the old schoolers.
This a savage first round matchup. My two favorite comedians!

I just looked this video from Demetri Martin and I cannot find anywhere!!!!! I'm usually great finding things in the internet, but after 40 minutes I'm gonna just stop. I was trying old flash video, dead links, everything, so if you find this I'll change him then.
It was in Comedy Central Daily Show: Segment: Trendspotting - Social Media - Demetri Martin (basically about Myspace).

I wasn't able to find my favorite Demitri joke in video. Here's a picture
I like Tom Segura and know he's not going to win so threw him a sympathy vote.
I'm to young to know much about Pryor. Never seen any of his stand-up.
Sucks that Bill Hicks passed away young and before he was able to gain more exposure. Him losing out to Jim Jefferies is kind of a crime.
Pryor's enactment of the different animals in Africa might get him to the FF on its own.

First round is coming to an end. Not as many upsets as I was anticipating, but a couple of big surprises.
THE RESULTS ARE IN FROM THE ROUND OF 64, AND HERE ARE A FEW STORYLINES...
Top Seeds Cruise... In the least surprising outcome of the day, the #1 seeds of Carlin, Pryor, Chappelle, and Murphy made quick work of their #16 seeded foes, each winning by landslide vote and solidifying their spot at #1 in their region.
Multiple HoFers Go Down... Redd Foxx, Andy Kaufman, and Bill Hicks -- three surefire Hall of Famers -- all went down in the opening tilt, demonstrating just how widely opinions vary and how subjective stand up comedy is.
Norm and Bob Darkhorses?... It's still early, but could Norm McDonald's 62-3 destruction of Amy Schumer and Bob Saget upsetting #5 seed and legend Andy Kaufman be a foreshadowing of things to come for these two cult favorites?
A Newhart Upset for the Ages... The opening round's biggest upset came in the form of #13 seed Bob Newhart over #4 seed Louis C.K., a fitting tribute to the recently departed legend of the deadpan delivery.
