All of the football games should be available to anyone who could watch Cyclones.tv.
They blocked CyclonesTV online viewers outside of the state of Iowa from viewing the 2014 Texas game which originated with the Longhorn Network. Below is the info they released. For the full release click here.

Viewers who are outside the state of Iowa and have an online subscription to Cyclones.tv
[FONT=&amp] will not see the game. Big 12 television agreements prohibit online distribution of the game between the Cyclones and Longhorns outside the state of Iowa. Fans outside the state will need to access the game on a cable/satellite provider who carries the Longhorn Network. A list of LHN affiliates - which includes DISH Network - is below.

cyclones.tv dumps Neulion and Silverlight (a dead-end technology).

cyclones.tv appears on Roku.

They are going to suck me back in, aren't they?

The new site still has no semblance of order or organization for videos... seriously, how hard would it be to organize it by season or some other group instead of having to either search or keep clicking load more to find old games!!!!

Although overall, this is MUCH better than that crappy neulion player they used to have.

The reason for this is that LHN had rights to the game and having it on Cyclones.TV was an accommodation to fans in Iowa. For the most part, any games on Cyclones.TV will be available out of state.

If I buy a Roku Stick, I'll be able to get the cyclones.tv channel and watch the UNI game next Saturday, correct?

Not true. It was a conference game. Therefore the ownership rights go to the conferenc first, schools only after networks don't pick up the game. Texas and ISU made a deal to let it play on the LHN and I believe Texas had to pay ISU some cash as well.

I really wish you didn't have to re-login each time. I'd probably have it playing non-stop if I didn't have to get out the computer each time I want to watch the live stream on the ROKU.

I have PS Vue that I watch on the PS4, or my 2 Fire TVs and an original Chromecast stick. I just won an iPad mini, and my son has an iPhone. Should I buy the Apple TV or Roku for the best viewing of Cyclones.TV.

I've got an iphone and can not find any app that has Cyclones.TV on it (unlike last year). Only way I can get there is to go to cyclones.com via Safari and backdoor into Cyclones.TV. I will be watching the game via iphone and wondering what I am missing.

If I recall last year things didnt get updated and released until a few days before the game, so can I assume the same is this year?

I exchanged emails with support with the new provider of Cyclones.tv (Sidearm) - they aren't confident that the app will be ready by kickoff on 9/3, which is disappointing. If you have AppleTV and a Mac or iPad or iPhone you can pull up Cyclones.tv on your browser, then use Airplay to watch over your TV (of course you have to have a Cyclones.tv subscription).

Any idea if we have to do the "upgrade" again this year? So last year I had to do the cyclone.tv subscription, then I believe I had to upgrade the video player (good for 1 year though).

Not sure. I haven't heard anything about an upgrade to a video player. I've been able to watch through browser on my mac, ipad, and iphone without issue.

For the price of one Apple TV you could have a Roku on every TV in your house and your neighbor's too.

Roku is $50-$130, AppleTV is $70-$200. I guess I don't see the big differrence if ATV is better than the other. With FireTV and Chromecast I wasn't wanting another device that plays the same stuff.
