I was on Iowa's rivals site and I came upon this thread HawkeyeReport.com - Message Boards and noticed that you two got a shout out by cmhawks99, you guys are making it big time now. :smile:

Yes Cylient Bob and I had a little diatribe the other day and that Mike....wow, he is new to me (left in May of last year) but he calls anyone Iowa "bred"....real bitter cat for a 22 year old.

You are also right about how the board front page used to be near 50% Iowa talk (35 to 40% at the very least) and it irritated many of them. I don't really blame them either. Hard to "prove" Iowa isn't significant when they dominate your board.

Now with that said, I found my way over their a couple years back because I got so tired of the nastiness and bitterness from our own fans and for some reason they seem to offend me less than Iowa fans. Mostly because I guess I expect more from my own.

Honestly as Hawkoptomist said they have some really good, reasonable poster who are pretty intelligent. Some even like KF and Iowa to a degree (like I do them I guess) as long as they aren't berated by Iowa fans.

These fringe guys though, wow................Saw a guy one day cyclonestate78 (another nasty bitter cat) hoping the story he heard about Dwayne Crutchfield flipping Hayden off on a 80 yard TD run was true.

This after he railed Brett Bielema for being an arse for what he did!

I think it's a automatic signature, my ipod touch does the same thing when I send emails from it.

I kind of agree. I don't have any problem with Hawk fans UNTIL they preach superiority. I understand that all fans are zealous and excited, so I hold mutual respect for that sport's fan pride, until they start berating me.
