How have the events been in the past? Is it worth it to check out what Sukup End Zone Club is like since I'll probably never actually watch a game there?

Went last year. Very good crowd. You will get a good feel for the coaches as they all spoke.

Yes, definitely worth it. Cool to see the inside of the Sukup Club. Coaches do a really good job of introducing the players with video highlights playing on a big screen behind them. Some even hang around and talk afterwards.

And perhaps most important to this site, they will have cash bars open!

Testifying
Sukup is very cool. Go to it if you’ve never been. Warning, it’ll be more packed than you imagined.

Great event. Love the staff. John Walters was fantastic. Coach Campbell thanked everyone and their sister. President Wintersteen was there for the entire event.

Best lines of the night:

John Walters announces Skyler Loving-Black as earning bonus points from Coach Campbell for having "loving black" in his name.

When asked about his memories from the West Virginia game, new coach Matt Caponi (who was an assistant at West Virginia last year) said "The un-professionalism of the field storm." The crowd erupted with laughter and applause. Then he said, "I'm looking forward to more un-professionalism next year." More rousing applause.

Also interesting was that while most of the players left before the event was over, John Kolar, QB grad transfer from Oklahoma State stood next to Campbell almost all night, like a bodyguard.

I like him already.
