On the website it mentions that it is allowed, but discouraged. For all of us first timers, do they allow you to use ipods and other devices to listen to music while you run? I thought somebody told me a couple years ago that they don't allow it but I'm hoping I was misinformed b/c music is a must for me when I run!!!
2nd time for me too. Hope to do better than last year. I will be running with my iPod. Can't run with out it. If you keep our earbud out it is safe to run, OR just don't turn it up so dang loud.
Get off my lawn!

I am running the 20K this year. It is my first time ever participating in the Dam to Dam.
Not a whole lot of run specific training but I have been training for the Hy-Vee tri. I ran 8.5 miles last week and felt pretty good. We run about 7 miles at least once a week for tri training so I'm feeling fairly confident that I can at least finish. I'm hoping for a sub 2:00:00 finish but who knows.
I was going to run it for the first time this year but a broken leg took care of that. Was shooting for 1:15
