Hopefully this is an indicator of White or Eisworth staying. Could also have some younger talent that could pass him next year.

Some of the younger guys were getting snaps this year. I believe Mason Chambers played snaps in the Big12 Championship game. TJ Tampa was getting snaps in other games but that was at CB not safety. Same with Craig McDonald at safety. Future looks bright but Isheem Young is going to be the veteran at safety now unless Lawrence white comes back.

Playing time, would be my guess. Wish him well! I'll always remember him knocking away 4th down pass against KSU in Farmageddon 2018 to end the curse of the vampire.

If my memory serves me correctly he may have tripped up the receiver on that play...

He played well when called upon, and is a P5 caliber starter. I think Chambers is all but a lock to start (assuming White and Eisworth aren't both back) along with Young of course. If both Eisworth and White leave it seems like he would have an inside track at starting, but I think King and Miller are right there too.

Lots of time put in as a Cyclone. Good luck to him. Hopefully he finds a good situation and it works out for him.

I remember when he was coming in as a recruit and there was major hype around him. Crazy to think that now he's competing with true and RS frosh for playing time. Not a knock on him but a testament to how much better recruiting has gotten.

If I remember right, he was one of the few carryover recruits from Rhodes. He might not have committed to CPR, but the contacts had been established. J Johnson was also in the same situation.
