It was timing and a mental error on his part with the route tree. You have to live with some of the interceptions he's going to throw because he can make all the throws. He thinks he can make them and that's what it takes to be elite, just gotta clean it up.
Agree. I think he's going to be good but a 'gunslinger' type qb. We will see alot of completions but he may have the most interceptions too.

Easier to block. That said, I love his quick release. AND, I've noticed his side arm throws are quicker because he doesn't have to rotate his feet as much. And he doesn't seem to hesitate if he sees an open receiver. He pulls the trigger more quickly.

That's what I mean. It's situational and he's 6'3 so I'm not too worried about it.

That release and general placement of the ball is something we just simply haven't seen.

Watch Mahomes lately? It’s def situational for him.
Manhomes uses it as a weapon but still has a traditional throwing motion. I don’t normally make nit picky threads but as someone mentioned it is something I’ll have to get used to seeing. I didn’t notice as much watching in person

So does Dekkers?

The side arm only came out on some of those quick slant types in them middle.

Concerned? Opposite. Great to see. On at least a couple completions the last two games, I’m not sure it gets there any other way. Have we had a passer so good with multiple release points?

But we knew he had a talented arm. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with his feel/feet in the pocket for such little experience. He makes the OL better this way
