Last week he threw for 444 yards and 5tds. Tonight he threw for 479 yards and 5 tds. I think we got a good one.

never understood some who had a problem with bringing in 2 QBs who are good to compete..Iowa right now had 3 starter quality QBs on their roster probably.

Who have you seen on here who had a problem with it? I know that some people (including me) didn’t think that CMC was going to take a second QB in this class, but that’s a different matter entirely.
Also not sure where you’re seeing three “starter quality” quarterbacks at Iowa right now. Unless you’re counting “poor” as “starter quality”?
And none of their quarterbacks arrived in the same class, so really not sure where the parallel is. While Purdy and Mitchell already were in the same class.

Have a pretty solid source that says the staff likes Bouman more as the QB of the future but Dekkers was too athletic to pass up and will surely see the field in some aspect early on
Interesting, considering that at The Opening, Dekkers showed he can play with any quarterback in the country.
Love that Iowa gets injected into every thread, some way, somehow.
I heard that Coach Campbell was going to be at the game to watch Dekkers. Anyone know if that happened?
Well they come to all of our games. We tend to share things with them for some reason.
Last night, I doubt it. WHO showed video of Purdy, CMC, and Manning at Valley - Dowling game.
I love Bouman, and now Dekkers is coming off as Ehlinger-esque. Love it. Something tells me we'll need depth either way. I'm not sold on Mitchell or Dean, but I hope for the best.
