Cheer up. At least the Cards beat the Cubs 2-1 today. :biggrin9gp:

*Note: I realize that for many of you that's just salt in the wounds, but for some of us this just made the day a whole lot better*

Blah, it is april, baseball has too many meaningless games...

Have the cubs been eliminated from the playoff race yet?

Some bizzare plays in the game today. The "interference" call on Blanco where supposedly Molina grabbed him while going for the ball and Cedeno called out sliding into 2B on a ball 4 walk. Thought for a minute there Cub friend Izzy was going to hand the Cubs another game with a blown save.

My wife brought home for me 12 cans of Modelo for golf tomorrow.

I just may have to make a beer run tomorrow morning before the first tee...:baffled5wh:

:sad9cd: Not yet. Although it has been a tough season to watch so far.
I'm hoping for a rally of wins.... and hopefully very soon.

Hey it's way early. A lot of new players and a new coach. It will take a while to find themselves.

Wonder who will buy them at season end?
