I just love this description of him from last year on his old bio:
2012-13
Appeared in six games, averaging 0.8 points...drilled a 3-pointer vs. Omaha en route to a career-high three points.

I'm pretty sure he did. Not in the CCL and had a lot of tweets saying "Last night in Ames". Kinda surprised since he is a Walk-on and good friends with Niang and Gibson, etc. must want to go somewhere he can play.

Fred booted him from the team, took his lunch money, and made jokes about his mom as he was cleaning out his locker.

He gone.

Who are we recruiting for the next walk-on? Do we have enough space for more walk-ons?

Fred decided to pull his non-scholarship because a better walk-on who can play right away next year came along.

Yeah, but my guess is he probably had a shot to earn a scholly, didn't, and is moving on rather than pay the tuition a couple more years.

Not like it matters but I'm pretty certain that isn't the case.

I've seen him play, he's better than Bubu. Just got put in Fred's dog house because he didn't play for Ames High.
