Did anyone see LJ and Sims going at it today? That can't be good for team chemistry imo.

Also not good for team chemistry: Suspending a kid for only one game after he ripped off someone's credit card and actually used it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sims blew his coverage. Which is why LJ yelled at him. Either way, I'm sure they are over it now.

Yeah, but LJ was getting beat all day. It's like Iowa was targeting him.

Yes, it was but he didnt get help deep either. It is also hard to defend when you get no pass rush. Reaves played a good game though.

OK, but LJ lost his poise when he started screaming at his own teammate Sims, in the middle of the field, on national TV, then ends up shoving him. It looked awful.

basically came down to EVERYONE having a bad game and at that point emotions got the best of a few. Nothing big...move on.

they wont improve. if we couldnt get pressure against NIU (probably are weakest opponent this year), then how will be get pressure against any other team
They won't. The attitude I had was that the DLine was so bad last year how can it be worse this year. Well it has through the first 2 games. I wouldn't trade Wally Burnham for anything though. He has said many times he's not big on blitzing, but at some point he will have to this year or it's gonna look like a 7 on 7 passing camp. He was blitzing on run downs. He is just not willing to take a risk on a 3and 6(obvious passing down). He's in a real tough spot. A lack of size and talent on the line. And who knows what we'll get outta the lb's and secondary. I'm sure with a total lack of depth he doesn't appreciate the offense going 3 and out. Make any sense?
