Do you think McD and the other 4 coaching staffs were also on hold on skype waiting for HB to pull them up? If so that would make me even more disappointed in how HB handled this thing.

A reporter asked him this and he said only Williams was on the line. He also said that he called all the coaches yesterday to thank them for recruiting him. And he said he would call the other five tonight to thank them again.
FYI, I was there and hung around afterward to talk with lots of folks and listen to the interactions with several reporters.

IF that were found out to be true, it would be bizarre beyond belief.
It was crazy enough to see the poor Ames High pep band at the presser today, poised and ready to play the ISU fight song, only to start quietly packing away their instruments when HB revealed his choice.
