I’m curious to see if the new tv contracts change the way up and coming coaches take jobs? Does ISU start having a higher floor of squat we can pay, therefore we can go after bigger names?

Does a coach at a G-5 pass on a Big 12 job (like Iowa state) if they know they can wait a year to get paid double at a middle to lower Big 10 school (NW, Purdue, Illinois)

3) losing control of emotions

Waiting another year just delays the next rebuild another year.

It won’t happen, because it rarely does early enough, but the signs are all here.

The QB situation isn’t the problem, IMO. Very limited run game is the main culprit. Rocco is accurate and makes good decisions to my untrained eye. I wouldn’t put either of the INTs solely on him today.

Defense benefits a little from Campbell’s commitment to “complimentary football”. I think turning over the keys to Rocco is the only option to jumpstart the offense. Drastic improvement running the ball isn’t going to happen during this season. Consecutive NFL RBs masked most of the running game problems for a handful of years.

I have sat and thought a lot about this team and coaches after this game. A lot of what I have though is the same things have gave already bees said.

The whole offense needs remodeled. The preaching of players, formations, and plays needs to be revamped to run your formations and plays to your players strengths instead of keep trying to fit a triangle into a circle.

The offensive line has how many players that have multi starts now? Start putting on some young kids and see what they can do as it won’t be any worse and it would be good experience. I have never seen an offensive line just stand around while the back is getting mauled in the backfield time after time today. What happened to beating being violent? They should have never been worked over by a MAC defense.

Let Nate just run the offense on his own just once and see what happens. He was hired to be an OC to manage the offense so let him do it and not be micro managed.

Get some of those young receiver on the field. Why hype them up so much to just let the sit. Once again it won’t hurt to get some other guys out there.

It’s very frustrating when the coach won’t admit his mistakes and get arrogant when you call him out on something.
