Poor guy. Imagine getting fired from the same place twice.
Maybe Fred is going to coach solo and take their salaries. Why he took the cut earlier.
This has been his dream all along.
but who is going to do all the things he gets paid millions of dollars to do? Like recruit...
I guess we'll see how good that Rolodex really is that was often touted here.
It’ll be interesting to see who will go to nebraska on what appears to be a suicide mission. Maybe he can convince Charlie Henry to come back? He hasn’t really worked with many guys.
Unless Fred has some guys lined up, gonna be tough to get quality coaches.
He had told people awhile ago in the business previously w/him that he was done after the end of the year. Pretty sure its his choice
Strange way of announcing it then. Also, Loenser left solid ground to jump on a sinking ship. Bet he’d like a do-over.
He was still with them up until this season. That move is extremely perplexing. He was well thought of there.
I think he’s a good coach. I don’t think he has much experience recruiting. So it’ll be interesting to see who fred gets especially if the other assistant leaves.
