I saw Tim Allen a couple of weeks ago and it brought back good memories of watching Home Improvement back in the day. Which lead me to think about TV shows that I loved as a kid, that if I saw the first two minutes of an episode today I would know exactly what happens in the rest of the episode.

For me I can think of 3 such shows. Home Improvement, Boy Meets World, and Saved By the Bell. What shows did the rest of you watch all of the time?

Home Improvement, and is still is, my favorite show. I also knew every episode. Tim was just hilarious at times. A few weeks ago my church reenacted part of one episode and everyone loved it.

I also liked Boy Meets World, but grew out of that fairly quickly.

Full House wasn't bad when I was younger.

When I think of Home Improvement and hear "Does everybody know what time it is?" I think of Debbe Dunning as Heidi.

Absolutely. So much hotter than Pam. That show was great the first 2-3 years, but got pretty bad as the boys got older. Luckily Heidi was there to pick up the slack.

FOr some reason a few weeks ago, I had the theme song to "Blossom" in my head, so my wife pulled it up on youtube and we watched the open.
Also played the Heman and THundercats opens along with several others.
Saved by the Bell, California Dreams, Hang Time, NBA Inside Stuff, and WWF made up my Saturday mornings

Fan of those shows as well. For those that scoff at Boy Meet World two words: Danielle Fishel

This is one of many shows that I watched religiously as a kid but when I see it now, I think to myself, "What the **** were you thinking? This is terrible."

Not like today's stuff is much better. Not as lame as these shows look now, but still bad. The comedy sitcom is slowing dying off and it's being replaced by hour long drama's. As a fan of laughter this saddens me greatly.

TGIF

Dinosaurs, Step by Step, Perfect Strangers, Boy Meets World, Family Matters, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, etc.

I loved TGIF. I can't remember anything that happened in Perfect Strangers, just remember liking the show. Last year I was watching Saved by the Bell and Step by Step every morning, good stuff. I had forgot about my childhood crush on Al (Christine Lakin).

Wow, you guys are making me feel OLD!

Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care about time?

Thats actually the first thing I thought of. I liked Home Improvement a little bit but watched it more in syndication than when it was on.

Shows that bring me back:
Night Court
Quantum Leap
Fresh Prince

Seinfeld reminds me of college a lot but its never really not been on TV so the timeline is a little more blurry with that one.

Was Night Court on after the 10 o'clock news? It seemed pretty late when I watched it, but I was pretty young so late might have been 8pm.

It usually aired after Cheers at 830 as I recall. Part of the killer Thursday night lineup on NBC.

I loved Wild Wild West, Lost In Space, and Time Tunnel when I was fairly young. And the original Star Trek. Lots of neat gadgets. There was also Night Gallery, Ghost Story, and we NEVER missed Dark Shadows right after we got home from school.
