I should emphasize this is a points system and not the old school weeks system which I do not recommend. We are not tied to a designated week at a designated location. We primarily exchange with RCI which has over 4500 locations world wide. Note that what you are doing is acting as a travel agency on behalf of yourself as it does take time on the internet to locate available resorts in the time frame you have available at the location you desire. Resorts use many methods to fill their rooms and you may be laying on the beach beside someone who paid full market rate on the open market and on the other side is a guy who is old school and owns a week every year at that resort and the next guy actually owns the room. We were in Puerto Valarta and I met a couple who owned a villa, were 90 yrs old and spent six months there off and on. Lived in Toronto and drove back and forth several times a year. Couldn't believe it.

Not exactly sure.
Most things my wife gets off Amazon. For instance. Storage bags for a queen size mattress and box springs. You slide in mattress in, and have 3’ of plastic to fold over and nothing to keep it closed. Had to use about a half roll of duct tape to wrap around it to keep it closed. The plastic was so slick, you couldn’t even hold it. She gets a lot of useless gadgets from their.
Plastic sheets? Did she happen to have some coconut oil show up with that also? If so, you missed the point of the plastic sheets.

Seriously though I have two really cheap air impact wrenches that couldn't knock a nut loose from my kids bike if their life depended on it. I paid over $100 for each of them and neither one of them will take a lug nut loose.

I have a couple of those too, but didn't pay $100 for them. I have a air impact ratchet tool that is not only weak but super slow. Best of both worlds.

Man, where do I start...

#1 is probably a travel trailer. Shouldn't have bought it; didn't use it as much as I thought. Glad I was able to sell it but still took a loss.

crazy so many people haven't had success with CBD. it works wonders for me. I always think how you take it can change how effective it is.

I find if you struggle to feel it in your coffee/water in liquid form. I would recommend getting a cbd pen since those tend to work a lot faster.

Of course I wouldn't recommend dropping a lot of cash on your first purchase until you know how it works for you.

Ok, I own a effing boat. Enough said.

Could be worse, it could have been a horse. I can't imagine anything more worthless than owning a horse. In laws had one for about a year, and decided that was enough. Feeding, vet, riding equipment, place to stay, etc.

Boats are pretty bad, I have a cheap one, but still don't get enough use out of it to make it worthwhile. Also have a 79 MG Midget that I should get rid of. Not a lot wrong with it, just never drive it.

I think a number of people expect to get a "high" or some strongly noticeable effect. There's also a lot of snake oil in the CBD world as well.

I bought a well recommended product and took it about 30 minutes before going to bed to help me with sleep. It definitely helped.

According to @Mr Janny , I'm not "great' at "measuring" or "looking at dimensions" before I buy things.

One time, I bought a bust of Chewbacca on Amazon to put in his stocking, because I thought it would be hilarious. I thought it was going to be, like, 12 - 18 inches tall.

It came and it was 3 inches tall. He STILL laughs at me whenever he looks at it.

Cheap bedsheets are dumb purchases but not high $ items so it doesn't hurt

I'm firmly in the camp of spend more on sheets (wife got some for $150 ish and it's been a gamechanger vs the $40 Kohl's sheets that make you sweat). Currently have a 2 year old Nectar and it's the nicest bed I've ever slept on.

Also, Janny isn't complaining if you think three inches is like 18

It didn't start off to be the dumbest thing I ever purchased but it ended as one. I ordered a golf swing training tool off Amazon. The golf swing tool I ordered was one where you took full swings and it made a click at the "point of impact" if you had a correct swing. If your swing is off, it doesn't make that click sound.

What I got was what I can only describe as a putter for a 5 year-old. My girlfriend watched me open the box and she said, "Is that your golf training tool?" She chided me for ordering in the first place because she thought it was a waste of money.

Of course, just to save face, I said, "It sure is." So for the past three weeks I have been looking like a damn fool swinging this tiny putter in my garage just so my girlfriend doesn't get the chance to say, "I told you so. What a waste of money."

Had a friend who bought a medicus. He had a five iron that could smoke 225+ yard shots. He had a funky swing so it would actually being like a pitcher snapping their wrist at impact and snap the ball into unbelievable distances.

Keurig K cup coffee machine. I have burned through 3 of them, and can't get one to last 6 months. Overpriced POS.

Not me, but my parents bought a timeshare based out of Branson somewhere around the turn of the millennium. (You could "Exchange" for a fee and go other places, like Florida) - this was after I was already in college. It was decent for the first 5-6 years, and then things went downhill. Paid far more in maintenance fees than we "saved" by not staying in nice hotels. Also became harder and harder to find availability where we wanted to go.

Then, the last 7-10 years, my parents' health went downhill, and couldn't use it. Kept paying for it of course, and couldn't get out of it. Now I am their power of attorney and handle all their finances after they both had major health issues, and I'm the one still having to deal with it almost 20 years later.

I deal with many elderly clients with timeshares and I would never, and I mean neeeeever, encourage anyone to touch these things. You cannot get rid of them. I have had clients pay thousands of dollars just to be out from under them.

I have had my last one for about 5 years. (probably jinxed it now) The ones that hold more than just one cup seem to last longer for some reason.
