I didn't realize that Elijah Johnson was the cousin to our own Leonard Johnson. Small world. Makes us look bad for the racial slurs that were used.

Well if he is the cousin of Leonard Johnson, what he did at the end of the game doesn't surprise me.

Makes him look terrible. ISU fans called him out instantly and made his internet life disappear. Thats what it looks like at the moment and why it never really had feet.
The slurs reflect poorly on the individuals no matter who he is related to.
The fact that the fanbase immediately and entirely rejected it showed that the opinion of one or two idiots does not reflect the fanbase as a whole.
There's no way to disassociate what they said from the fact that they are also ISU fans, but I think we've shown that the "ISU Fan" part is completely independent of the "Bigot" part.
Hold on there Tex. The racial slurs by some dbag on twitter certainly does not make me look bad, so who you are reffering to "us" as I have no idea. I don't run around using racial slurs, nor do 99.9% of our fanbase, so use the word "us" somwhere else.
One guy said it...the media gave everyone the opportunity to read it, and now it makes us all look like horrible people.
guys, c'mon. how many times did someone reference a stupid kansas fan and then say "see look how dumb kansas fans are". It's the same thing here. We know that guy isn't typical of us but someone unaffiliated with us sees that at the same time reading about ISU and they are bound to make connections.

Were they idiots? Yes. Racial slurs should never be used, especially attacking someone like that.
But saying they should be shot makes you look petty and just immature.

I really feel sorry for you guys and the hit you have taken for a single basketball game that meant nothing to your team. Ive been to Ames a dozen times and always been treated fine. I always liked going there. You look like complete buffoons. Honestly, you were probably the most respected fan base in the Big 12 prior to this nonsense. Now you look like crybabies, racists, and just plain ignorant. Siding with Missouri is icing on the cake.
