Iowa State has contacted Carter's AAU coach per Adam Zagoria. Carter led Rutgers in scoring last year as a sophomore with 15 ppg. My guess is that he'd have a great chance to come in and start next year at Guard.

I would like this kid- he is really good and has spent two years as the focal point of opponents defensive game plans at RU.

I also think it is realistic to think he could get a waiver to play right away given how the Rutgers mess went down (I really think it is 50/50)

Yeah he would have to be cleared to play next year but with the Rutgers situation I think the kid has a good shot at being cleared to play.
