Would it kill you to predict a Cyclone victory every so often Kirk. You are usually the one who predicts "same ol Cyclones" attitude in your prognostications. At least this article explains why you do so.
Actually, I did realize that after I sent it. I think it's been "duped" by ISU's heart and team chemistry. Algorithms make bad relationship partners because they can't predict that. That isn't my prediction... it is the prediction from the algorithm used at cfbanalytics.com (the college football data site I run with Dan Becker).
I know Kirk does predictive analytics, but he has his limitationsDoes Prohm know by now what THT has decided.

One thing if we lose this weekend- it would not be another Charlie Brown, typical ISU moment. It’s not a sign of same old, same old. TCU is #4 for a reason. It’s perfectly normal for any fanbase to think they’d lose.
It’s already been framed as another nut kick. If losing to the #4 team is a nut kick, then sports are probably not for you. That is a very narcissistic, woe-is-Iowa State view on being an underdog in a big game imo.
I thought the UT was a big game. We lost and it will bother me for a long while, but a nut kick it wasn’t.
Then it should never be wrong.Empirically speaking, our algorithm assigns .15 points per possession for teams with "Good" or "Great" heart and .58931 points per possession for teams who exhibit "Outstanding" chemistry.
But don't ask me, it's not like I do this for a living.
