I personally love ESPN and Gameday.
I have to turn the channel anytime Fox has a halftime show and Wanstadt is on set.
Just once, I want to see Corso put Cy's head on.
That's the wrong attitude. Like ESPN or not, it's a 3-hour commercial for your university and football program.

I can respect that. I also think there are enough people that feel like they are forced to watch GameDay because it is the only college football preview show currently. Even if they did a studio show to start. I'd probably watch that over ESPN, because I feel like I'd get a more rounded show that covers all the P5 closer to evenly. The only shows I watch on ESPN anymore is Mike and Mike and GameDay.

Fred wouldn't be able to do it with his NBA schedule. I have no idea who would be a good pick for this. We don't have a lot of "stars" that have come out of ISU or root for ISU. Sage, Matt Blair, ???

I've been wondering this too. We don't have anyone "famous" and by "famous" I mean someone a person in part of the country far away would recognize.
Seneca is probably the one most college football fans would remember. Playing snaps in the NFL off an on for a decade doesn't hurt either. Random college football fans I encounter in California remember Seneca but not Troy Davis for example.
I don't think Fred would be able to do it during the NBA season. They don't have to be Iowa State fans to be on Gameday. They had Tim McGraw on in Week 6 for WV vs TCU (LSU Fan). If I had to guess it would be one of either: Matt Blair, Dan Gable, or Coach Prohm.
The Raiders have a bye that week, maybe we could get KO.

The problem is no non-ISU fan watching Gameday would know who he is.
Sage Rosenfels, Seneca Wallace or Coach Prohm would be my guess
