Wow, that is him! Had 53 tackles and 4.5 sacks this year.

Iowa Central also has a QB named Ty Purdy and a WR named Eddy Sama. Same HS as Abu so I assume they are related.

Bauman has a covid year available so he could end up returning. I'm glad they won't have RB Travis Theis next year. He would run all over us. But his backup is really scary too and will be back (unless he transfers out).

This got missed over the last few weeks, but former Grand View HC Joe Woodley (and former ISU LB '99-03) was announced as the new HC at Drake.

Woodley lead Grand View (NAIA) to a 72-5 record over six seasons and won the 2024 NAIA National Title.
