Expectations too high? I disagree.

My honest opinion on the whole "We Set Our Expectations Too High" argument...

I completely DISagree with this. We have (had) absolutely NO reason to believe that we weren't talented/good enough to reach the NCAA Tournament this season. None. What we did, was overrated McDermott's coaching ability. It's just not there. At all.

His substitution patterns are cause for real concern.

I totally agree. I remember the one thing I liked about WM was that he let his stars play. Stinson and Blalock played ALL THE TIME. They literally would average 38 minutes a game! Not saying we shouldn't rest people, but the way he subs in guys just baffles me.

The expectations should be high!!! For the past 5 years, we have been waiting for the perfect oppurtunity to play some competitive basketball. Finally, we get this team. We should have expectations!! This team has the talent to do some great things. I miss NCAA tournaments, beating UNI and Drake on a yearly basis, and Hilton Magic. The crowd at Hilton was great tonight, and I applaud all of you that went.
